Any booking at an airport hotel is confirmed with half the fee, and so is any booking made more than twenty-four hours ahead, which covers nearly every layover planned before departure. A first booking with the house also carries it. Ninety minutes at EUR 270 sends EUR 135 by card, Revolut, Wise or crypto once the hour is agreed, and EUR 135 is paid at the door. Cancel more than twenty-four hours before the booked time and the whole deposit comes back; one move to another date within fourteen days is free when asked for that early. Luggage, lockers and the bag you actually need

A long layover is easier with less to carry. Leave the large suitcase checked through if the airline allows it, or in the airport's left luggage if it does not, and take one bag with a change of clothes, the passport and a charger.
